Karl Lagerfeld, after shedding about 40 kilograms, credited his weight loss to a diet of stewed vegetables and diet coke.
He is a big fan of the soft drink giant.
Following on last year’s limited edition diet coke cans, the company has decided to work with Karl (Chanel’s chief designer) again on three new “Love It Light” bottle designs which hit the shelves in early June. They will be on sale at selected stores only.
Karl’s silhouette featured on the bottles – ponytail included – along with a dark shade of pink and black star design. The bottle designs are numbered 1,2 and 3 and will be sold individually, packaged in exclusive, prism-shaped, collectible boxes also designed by Lagerfeld.
Karl Lagerfeld is very pleased with the latest collection and campaign and commented: “It was pure pleasure to do a campaign with people I like and for a product I love.”
