Durban events for the next few days.

Durban is rocking over the next few days with a long list of events happening.

In Black and White is showing at the Rhumbelow Theatre. Jonathan Roxmouth shares a personal take on showbiz life.

There are braai facilities available at the theatre and limited secure parking.

Tickets can be booked through Computicket or through the theatre.

The Sanlam Art Collection is on display at the Durban Art Gallery. 83 works of art produced by 70 artists are on display. Phone 031 311 2264/9 for more details.

Gallery hours : Mon – Sat 8:30am – 4pm. Sun 11am – 4pm.

Eddie Izzard will be performing for 5 nights in February at the Durban International Convention Centre. His performances will help to raise funds for the Nelson Mandela charitable organisations. Tickets can be bought through Computicket.

Lady Lea will be at Club 54 on the 23rd of January.

South Africa’s most successful rock band, Prime Circle, will be playing at The Barnyard Theatre this weekend.Go to for more details.

Sun Kissed Saturdays hosts weekly parties at Moyo at Ushaka. The party starts at 2pm and goes on until midnight and – wait for it – entry is free.

Durban activist Kevin Fry will be speaking at Moyo at uShaka on the 23rd of January. He wants to brings awareness to the general public about issues that every human being faces – poverty, war, famine and some other serious topics. Check out for more details.
